Mission

​Eppleworth Adult Centre's mission is to support adults living with developmental disabilities reach their full potential, build connection and participate in the community. Eppleworth's day program achieves this through educational, recreational and artistic activities delivered in a safe and caring environment.​

 

History

​Eppleworth Adult Centre was established in 1994 by a group of caring and determined parents and celebrates over 30 years of supportive, creative and effective programming.

​

​Since 2002, Eppleworth has received an annual grant funding from the Ministry of Child, Community and Social Services . This funding allows the Centre to offer subsidized fees for full-time participants. In 2004 Eppleworth received registered charitable status from the Canada Revenue Agency.

​Eppleworth is unique in many ways. We are a small organization that is supported by qualified and compassionate staff, motivated parents, long standing volunteers, and eager participants.
